We hope that everyone's Christmas has been good. I love this time of year and the special spirit that is in the air...
We had a fun Christmas. We went up to Cedar to spend time with Darren's parents for Christmas eve and spent the night. On Christmas morning, McKell slept in until 9:30! It was kinda hard waiting that long to open presents...We got all ready and had breakfast. Grandpa Baldwin got out of the hospital Christmas morning, so Lloyd went and kidnapped him and brought him back to the house. He watched McKell open presents and he opened a few. It was fun having a grandpa and a great grandpa there for Christmas morning! Later that day we went down to see my family in St. George. Brooke and Chris were visiting from New Mexico, so it has been so good to see them. We had a good time at both grandparent's and I think that we need a bigger house now to hold all of the toys..
We went four-wheeling the day after Christmas with Brooke, Chris & Rich. We had a good time together. Later that night we boxed each other on the Wii. Darren knocked me out within the first minute!

This is the present that Darren chose to open Christmas eve( as it is tradition)Darren wanted a 0 degree sleeping bag- he is in scouts now and is going to go on the klondike next year...(no thanks) he is looking forward to sleeping in the snow with the young men!? Darren wanted to sleep out in the snow at his parent's house on Christmas eve to see if his sleeping bag would keep him warm, but I told him that I wanted him with me for Christmas eve..haha!

The Nativity scene at the Kenney's...None of the little girls wanted to be baby Jesus....Our little nieces and nephews are the cutest!

After a long day of unwrapping presents, she was still ready to ride her four-wheeler! We are training her young to love the outdoors...

A new rocking chair! McKell loved it! She kept rocking on it and then she would climb up on it and stand backwards in it. She is fearless... She loved her little baby doll. it has a little binkie . She would suck on the binkie and then laugh...

I haven't been on for awhile...here is McKell after she got her shots early this month, she did pretty good. She cried until she got a sucker, and then she was so happy. She was trying to feed me her sucker. She kept sticking it in my face...haha!

dunes

Here is Darren the morning after Halloween. He and a friend in our ward went out to the Sand Hollow which is 5 minutes away from our house. They got up at 5:30 and wanted to go ride. Yikes!

Here is Halloween...Rich and Abby came over with Kristy. We went to our trunk or treat with the girls. Darren and I were farmers and McKell was our little chicken. Little Kristy was a butterfly. The girls looked so cute. McKell wasn't so sure about the costume...She and Kristy just want to play instead of "trick-or-treat", so we just came back home after and let the girls play.

We went to the park this weekend. The weather has been perfect down here. Darren has been in Vegas this week doing training, so I stayed with my parents for the week. We were so excited to get Darren back home.

The weather has been so nice! We have been playing outside and been working on the yard. Here is Darren and McKell having a good time out front. McKell does this funny smile where she scrunches her nose up. Darren calls it her chuck-e-cheese smile...:)
McKell loves carrots! She gets them everywhere except for her mouth!

1st four-wheeler ride!

McKell had her 1st fourwheeler ride at Grandma and Grandpa's. She had so much fun. She was touching all fo the buttons and knobs... Darren took her for a nice slow ride around the backyard. She has a lot of her daddy in her! He loves motors and engines! Her tongue is so busy she is always biting it and chewing on it. You can tell that the ride tired both of them out!
Darren and I had our 4th anniversary last week on the 12th. We went out to dinner and had a great time. Grandma babysat while we enjoyed our time together. It was very nice!

Father's Day

Father's Day! McKell and I made cards with her feet, hands and paint! We both got a little messy, but it was a lot of fun!

May 2008

May 2008

We have had a fun month. Darren and I tended his sister's boys for 3 days a couple of weeks ago while they went up to salt lake. McKell did well sleeping in her travelling crib. We had fun playing with the boys who are almost 3,7 and 9. They are so much fun. Darren has been very busy with work at the new middle school and highschool. He is enjoying his job. I am enjoying each day home with McKell. We have so much fun together. Yesterday we got out the pots and pans and spoons and we were drumming away...It seems like I have become a child again and simple things entertain me...I guess that is motherhood. It is getting hot down here in St. George! It is time to go swimming everyday. We either have to stay in or go somewhere where there is water. We love you all and think about our families and friends everyday. Take care -Toni
